Help Eddie Kaufman fight leukemia!
Mid Valley alumni and Roanoke University sophomore Eddie Kaufman was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia last summer. The diagnosis is a form of cancer that impacts blood, tissue, and bone marrow.
Months into his fight, Kaufman is now in search of a blood stem cell donor through the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). Anyone ages 18-40 can be a potential donor by first, partaking in a free home swab test, or attend an event to be swabbed to determine if they are a match.
Any potential donor interested in taking the test is encouraged to text “TeamEddieK” to 61474 or follow this linked web address.
