Eddie Kaufman, a 20-year-old Mid Valley High School alumnus who was recently diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. As Eddie undergoes life-dependent treatment, our community is rallying around him and his family to provide necessary support.

Despite spending years as an accomplished athlete playing both baseball and golf competitively for Mid Valley High School and Roanoke College, Eddie is currently in the fight of his life, battling an aggressive form of blood cancer. Among the life-altering challenges that Eddie and the Kaufman family have faced as a result of his diagnosis and treatment are overwhelming medical and travel-related expenses–a blow that our community is attempting to cushion with a fundraising event to be held June 21st, 2025, at Montage Mountain. 

Sponsorships for the upcoming Team Eddie K event where 100% of your donation will contribute directly to covering the cost of Eddie Kaufman’s treatment and related expenses can be found below:

●  Platinum: $5,000 - Includes top tier banner advertising at the event, social media advertising, 20 event tickets and a spot at the event.

●  Gold: $2,500 -  Includes 2nd tier banner advertising at the event, social media advertising, 10 event tickets and your signage at the event. 

●  Silver: $1,000 - Includes 3rd tier banner advertising at the event, social media advertising, and 10 event tickets.

●  Bronze: $500 - Includes 4th tier banner advertising at the event, social media advertising, and 5 tickets to the event

In addition to sponsorships, we are also seeking donations of gift cards, gift baskets and silent auction items. Your donation of any of the aforementioned would be appreciated and contribute greatly to the success of the event. 

Eddie has always shown immense dedication, resilience, and heart—on and off the field. Now, we have a chance to show that same support back to him. A Team Eddie K Foundation is in the process of being formed as a non-profit. A tax identification number can be forwarded once finalized in the coming months.
